Description
As part of our expansion of Dingles Fairground Museum, we are intending to expand with a new entrance hall and shop incorporating several new features and walkways. We need your help to achieve this and are inviting you to become a part of the Museum’s fabric. For a donation of as little as £50 you can have your name or a message carved into a brick that will be built into the museum.

We are offering you the opportunity to commemorate a birthday, record the life of a family member or colleague, publicise your business, have a moan or celebrate your divorce. In short you can put any message onto your brick and it will be displayed in the museum and then it will be built into the fabric of the new development.
You will also receive a small 6×4″ thank you/summary of your order on gloss paper should you wish to give a record of your purchase as a gift.
There are two sizes of bricks available: the smallest at 200x 100mm (close to 8”x4”) takes up to two lines of 16 characters. The larger size is 200x200mm (close to 8” x 8”) and can have up to four lines of 16 characters and is especially useful for businesses or for that longer personal message. Each brick is engraved to a standard depth with your selected message and you have the choice of either Gold or Black lettering.
Your donation is investing in the future of the Fairground Heritage Trust’s work and at the same time, recording a timeless memorial for you, your family, your business or friends; one that will be seen by thousands of visitors every year.
Businesses may also wish to use this facility as a low-cost way of sponsoring The Fairground Heritage Trust, obtaining tax advantages and gaining exposure to a large audience at the same time. We also have the facility to embed your company logo in a bespoke brick if required.
This unique and fun way to support the Trust can be available to you, by making a payment for one of the two sizes of bricks available. A form will then be e-mailed to you for you to record your message and other details.
Your donation will be used by the Trust to conserve the National Collection of Fairground Rides and Ephemera, to expand the existing Museum displays and to add new items to the collection in line with the Trust’s acquisition policy.
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can also Gift Aid your donation. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 25 pence from HMRC, helping your donation to go further. This means that £50 can be turned into £62.50 just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid.
If applicable, please tick the box at the checkout.
